1. What is the therapeutic dose of tenofovir? When is the best time to take medicine every day? 

Tenofovir dipivoxil should be given to adults at a dose of 300 mg once daily. In general, patients can take drugs on an empty stomach or after a meal, regardless of the influence of diet. Patients with poor response can take the drug after a high-fat meal to improve bioavailability and blood concentration of the drug. Patients with kidney damage should not take it with high fat diet, so as not to increase the blood drug concentration, which will aggravate the kidney damage. 

2. Which medications interact with tenofovir and cannot be taken together? 

. Tenofovir and adefovir belong to the same class of drugs and have the same renal toxicity. Taking the two drugs together will affect each other's clearance and excretion in the kidney and increase the risk of kidney damage. Therefore, they should not be used together. 

. Tenofovir interacts with Diepavir, a drug used to treat hepatitis C, which increases the blood concentration of tenofovir, leading to an increase in the nephrotoxicity of tenofovir. 

. Tenofovir diaxil interacts with some AIDS drugs (such as deoxyinosine), and concurrent administration may increase the risk of adverse reactions to each other. Medication should be taken under the guidance of a doctor and monitored carefully. 

Renal function, electrolytes (potassium, sodium, calcium, phosphorus) and urine routine examinations were performed before treatment with tenofovir, as the basis for future observation of adverse reactions. Tenofovir should be used with caution in patients with renal impairment prior to treatment and patients with significant hypophosphatemia, hypokalemia, and hypocalcemia prior to treatment.
